Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Primary Care Clinics: Mercy Care Decatur Street & Mercy Care Chamblee. Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency strongly preferred for the Chamblee Clinic. The Physician Assistant (PA-C) will work under established medical protocols to assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe medications as approved, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

What You Will Do:

• Provide primary care services to adult and geriatric patients, with the opportunity to serve pediatric and adolescent populations as needed.
• Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
• Promote health education, disease prevention, and wellness initiatives.
• Prescribe medications and make specialist referrals in accordance with medical protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, social service professionals, and care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional licensure and certification requirements.
• Serve on organizational committees and represent Mercy Care at community health fairs and outreach events 3–4 times annually.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Minimum of three (3) years of Physician Assistant experience; post-graduate clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Georgia Physician Assistant scope of practice.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic communication systems.
