Job Details Job Location: Rio Grande City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center - Rio Grande City, TX 78582 Position Type: Full Time Responsibilities Perform day‑to‑day housekeeping duties as a floors tech in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and report all accidents or incidents to the supervisor. Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff when cleaning resident living and recreational areas. Attend departmental and staff meetings as directed. Clean work/supply carts, equipment, and store all equipment properly at the end of the shift. Assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations, if necessary. Honor residents’ personal and property rights and inform them when their personal possessions need to be moved during cleaning procedures. Qualifications Maintain proper care and use of supplies, equipment, and keep housekeeping areas well presented. Perform regular inspections of resident rooms/units for sanitation, order, safety, and proper completion of assigned duties. Follow written and oral instructions for mixing cleaning compounds, liquids, and disinfecting solutions. Relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or, at times, hostile individuals within the facility. Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a height of 5 feet and carry that weight a minimum distance of 50 feet. #J-18808-Ljbffr
