Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled and dedicated RN specializing in PCU for a travel assignment in Louisville, KY. This role involves working in a progressive care unit focusing on general medicine and cardiology. The environment is dynamic, with a 25-bed unit set to decrease to 16 beds as room updates are completed, providing a unique opportunity for nurses with inpatient/trauma hospital experience.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Manage trach care, chest tubes, and perform PIV starts
• Administer blood, NG tube starts/feed, and PEG care/feeds
• Administer drips including heparin and insulin
• Support patient care with LPN partners for assessments and admissions
• Operate equipment such as Cerner EMR and Omnicell medication dispensers
• Float to mixed acuity units based on census and staffing needs

Requirements of the RN - PCU - Travel

• Current BLS and NIHSS certification
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient/trauma hospital experience
• Proficiency in managing trach care, chest tubes, and drip administration
