At Fooda, we believe a workplace food program should be something employees love and look forward to every day.Due to continued growth, Fooda is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to our Accounting and Finance Team. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this role will offer exposure to all areas of Fooda's business.You have 3-5 years of experience between public and/or private firms. You can deep dive into all types of data and make sense out of it, as well as being a great problem solver and clear communicator. You want to provide ideas on current processes in order to streamline and implement new systems. You demonstrate high energy and passion, and want to continue to be challenged every day. You are super organized, great at multi-tasking, love to meet deadlines and always looking for ways to improve everything!Participate in the monthly financial close including preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statement analysisAnalyze and report on variances for budget and forecastResponsible for general ledger accountingPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports.Responsible for audit requests such as balance sheet recs and other analyses.Research and analyze accounting issues as they develop.Provides advice and assistance to the Senior Accounting Manager in analyzing and interpreting financial data and reports.Assist in improving the accounting and financial reporting process by helping evaluate processes and implementing changes.Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities.Ability to generate new ideas and think independently; strong research and analysis skills.Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independentlyBachelor degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 3 years' experience in AccountingPublic accounting experience is a plusExcellent skills in MS Word and ExcelMust have excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with NetSuiteMust have a professional and courteous attitudeMust have a strong work ethicMust be able to exercise discretion and maintain confidential/sensitive informationMust be able to handle a fast-paced environmentAbility to work under tight deadlines and multi-taskAttention to detail and ability to be thorough in completing tasksMust have team building and demonstrated leadership qualitiesDesire to help to automate, streamline and document processesCompetitive base salary, bonus plan, and stock options, based on experienceComprehensive health, dental and vision plans401k retirement plan with company matchPaid maternity and parental leave benefitsFlexible spending accountsCompany-issued laptopDaily subsidized lunch program (ours!)Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No recruiters please. The salary range for this role is between $90,000- $105,000 and is dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to work experience, training, location, and skills.
