As a Special Education Teacher contracted through our agency, you'll work collaboratively with school staff to meet the unique learning needs of your students, fostering growth and achievement in a diverse classroom setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (state-specific or eligibility to obtain).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate varied learning styles.
• Positive attitude and passion for working with children with special needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and areas for growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school staff to develop effective instructional strategies.
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
• Maintain timely, accurate records, including progress monitoring and compliance documentation.
• Provide direct instruction and support in both academic and functional skills.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
