Registered Nurse (RN) Part Time-Days – Surgery Ambulatory Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 Work hours: Part Time- 24 Hours/week; Variable days Monday – Saturday. 530 – 14, open to 8/ 12/ hour shifts Surgery Ambulatory Highlights Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team. The professional nurse exhibits understanding of basic human needs. The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of patient’s affiliations. Here’s What You Need Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma Nurse Program BSN preferred 1 Year of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting required 1 Year of Periop experience preferred RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
