Located in the heart of Boulder, ROCKCREST is a specialist HR Tech consulting firm with nearly 20 years of expertise. We partner with organizations across all industries to deliver successful HR systems projects, from selection and implementation, to optimization and ongoing support.

The opportunity

We want to create approximately 120–150 video training courses focused on recruiting, account management, sales and marketing. We’re looking for a thoughtful learning consultant who can partner with our founder to turn training course ideas into consistent, engaging video course catalog — using modern AI tools to move quickly without sacrificing quality.

This is a hands-on design and production role, not an IT or developer role. You'll spend your time thinking about how adults learn, how to structure a lesson, how to script a course, and which AI tools produce the best result for each piece of content. The CEO will provide the subject-matter narration and source material; you'll shape it into finished courses.

What you'll do

• Partner with us to scope, sequence, and produce 120–150 video-based training courses.
• Translate existing source material (documents, notes, recordings) into clear learning objectives, outlines, and scripts.
• Evaluate, recommend, and use AI-powered learning tools (e.g., possibly NotebookLM, AI video/voice generation tools, AI scripting and summarization tools) to accelerate course creation. We're open to your recommendations — the role is choosing the right stack.
• Decide where the CEO’s narration should carry a course versus where an AI voice or avatar is a better fit, and produce the audio/video accordingly.
• Build courses inside our LMS ( iSpring ) — structure modules, upload assets, configure quizzes/assessments, and publish.
• Maintain a consistent visual and instructional style across the catalog so the courses feel like one library, not 150 one-offs.
• Track progress against the course backlog and flag content gaps, outdated material, or opportunities to consolidate.

What we're looking for

• Background as an instructional designer, course designer/producer, learning experience designer, or training consultant — somebody whose craft is designing how people learn, not coding software.
• Demonstrated experience turning raw subject-matter content into video-based courses (not text manuals or static PDFs).
• Strong experience utilizing AI learning tools — you've actively experimented with tools like NotebookLM, Synthesia, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Descript, ChatGPT/Claude, or similar, and you have opinions about what works.
• Strong writing and scripting skills, with the judgment to make a 10-minute video feel tight instead of padded.
• Comfortable working independently with light direction, and collaborating closely with a subject-matter expert to extract knowledge and shape it into a course.
• Reliable, organized, and able to commit to a steady 5–10 hours per week of focused work.
• Available for periodic in-person working sessions in Boulder, Colorado .

Nice to have

• LMS experience— building courses, setting up quizzes, publishing, and managing the course library.
• Experience producing or directing AI-generated voiceover and/or AI video presenters.
• Light video editing chops (e.g., Descript, Camtasia, Premiere, Final Cut) for trimming, captioning, and cleanup.
• Prior work building a course catalog at scale (dozens to hundreds of titles) rather than one-off custom projects.

Logistics

• Hours: ~5–10 per week
• Location: Hybrid in Boulder, CO. Most work is async/remote, with occasional in-person sessions.
• Engagement type: Contract (1099). $65-75/hour, depending on experience. This is a 1099 part-time contract position; benefits are not provided. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
