Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a progressive care unit (PCU) in Plattsburgh, NY on a travel assignment. This role focuses on acute inpatient progressive care and involves working in a collaborative healthcare environment. The successful candidate will have experience in telemetry and be a part of a resource float team within the facility.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PCU

• Manage acute patient care for a variety of diagnoses including cardiac and respiratory issues
• Administer insulin and cardiac drips, and perform IV starts
• Conduct frequent monitoring and assessments, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Participate in the care of post-cardiac catheterization patients
• Float to appropriate units as part of the resource team

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PCU

• Valid RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical and tele experience
• Experience with Epic documentation system within the past 2 years
