Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Oklahoma City requiring at least 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience, ARRT certification, and AHA-issued BLS and ACLS.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Performs high-acuity procedures including STEMI, cardiogenic shock, VAD, ECMO, and structural heart interventions
• Imaging equipment includes Philips systems with Siemens imaging being added
• Documentation is performed in Epic; hemodynamic system is Xper
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours/week)

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma state license or eNLC compact license) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ARRT certification required
• Minimum of 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience required
• Stepdown/PCU experience required
• Travel nursing experience required (Level 1)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Full Date of Birth (DOB) required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures ranging from routine to highly complex
• Monitors and documents physiological data, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products
• Collaborates with physicians during procedures and coordinates care with multidisciplinary team
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply for a new contract (prior travelers may only extend once, for a total of 26 weeks)
• Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, and medical requirements) must begin immediately upon offer acceptance; compliance deadlines are strictly enforced and non-negotiable
