Maintenance Technician- 2nd ShiftThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing troubleshooting, general repairs, preventative maintenance inspections, housekeeping, and routine upkeep of commercial buildings, grounds, and facility equipment. This role supports the operational reliability and safety of assigned commercial properties. We are seeking a proactive, service-oriented professional with 5+ years of commercial maintenance experience, a strong track record of reliability and customer service, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.General Maintenance DutiesFirst responder to maintenance work orders and customer service requests as assignedAssist with troubleshooting and repairsAddress plumbing issues in breakrooms, restrooms and kitchensReplace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, patch and paint, piping, floors and equipment maintenanceGrounds and basic exterior inspection and maintenancePackaging and delivery of equipmentClean, lubricate, and service facility equipmentAssist with installation and modification of non-electrical building equipmentIdentify opportunities for operational improvements and cost-savingsMaintain a strong working knowledge of tools and equipment used in general facility maintenanceConduct building and grounds inspections to identify hazards or maintenance needsFollow all applicable safety procedures, codes, and site-specific requirementsUse smartphones, tablets, computers, web-based systems, and digital tools to track work orders and PM tasksMaintain a clean, professional appearance and comply with C&W uniform dress codeMay serve as the sole on-site maintenance technician during certain shifts; may participate in on-call or overtime rotationsComplete all required customer and C&W Safety TrainingsWilling to work on the weekends as neededWilling to work Monday through Friday, 2nd shift, in Oro Valley, AZPreventative MaintenancePerform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections on building systems, interior finishes, equipment, and facility componentsComplete PM tasks thoroughly, accurately, and on time to prevent equipment failures and reduce reactive repairsDocument all PM work in the designated system, including inspection results, repairs performed, and future recommendationsIdentify developing issues during inspections and address them before they lead to downtime or safety risksImportant ExperienceMust be a team player, have great customer service, and a positive attitude.5+ years of commercial maintenance experience, with strong emphasis on performing preventative maintenanceOSHA Training, High School Diploma or GEDStrong initiative and dependable work ethicAble to multitask and work independently or with a teamAbility to handle multiple tasks and respond quickly in a fast-paced environmentPreferred: Experience in office, hospitals, labs, or manufacturing facilitiesAdditional Eligibility QualificationsTraining or on-the-job experience in one or more areas is a plus: Electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry, door/speed door repairsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordMust know how to use iPhones and have basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, WordWork EnvironmentWork performed within commercial office, laboratory and warehouse environmentsRegular use of tools, computers, mobile devices, and office equipmentPhysical DemandsFrequent walking throughout the work environmentAbility to lift +50lbs, reach, bend, climb, and use hands/arms for repairsRegular communication with staff, customers, vendors, and managementCompensationCompensation varies based on experience, qualifications, region, and applicable agreements.
