BayCare is currently in search of our newest Guest Services Ambassador who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Status: Full Time Shift Hours/Days: Mon–Thu 6am–8:30pm, Fri 6am–6:30pm, Sat 6am–12pm (rotating) Facility: Bloomingdale Health Hub Location: Valrico, FL Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: No Work Mode: In person Responsibilities Function as the guest’s liaison to all assigned services. Provide hospitality-focused service to ensure each patient, client, patron or visitor has a positive experience and their personal needs are met while utilizing the facility’s health-related and retail services. Act as an advocate for the patient and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, health system leaders, staff, medical office personnel and referring physicians. Address and resolve issues, escalating to facility leaders and/or managers as needed. Possess advanced computer skills and be proficient in reception, registration, scheduling, financial counseling, insurance verification, waiting room management, and document management as appropriate. Requirements Proficient (within 6 months of hire) in waiting room management system and in registration and scheduling of at least one service line (as per management directive). Required HS diploma or GED. Preferred Education: Associate Degree in Hospitality Management. Experience: 1 year of Customer Service or 1 year of Hospitality. Specific Skills: Insurance terminology use and understanding. Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
