Communications Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Communications Specialist based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic communications supporting a large-scale healthcare provider revalidation initiative.
You’ll develop clear, actionable messaging that helps healthcare providers understand requirements and complete critical enrollment activities on time.
Working across operational teams, leadership, and client stakeholders, you’ll own communications strategy and execution from planning through measurement.
The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on content development across email campaigns, letters, presentations, FAQs, and other channels.
You’ll translate complex operational and regulatory information into accessible communications tailored to different audiences.
Success will depend on your ability to manage multiple initiatives, measure engagement, and continuously improve outreach effectiveness.
This is a fully remote opportunity in a collaborative, fast-paced, and highly regulated healthcare environment.

Accountabilities:

• Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive communication strategies and plans supporting provider revalidation initiatives and broader enrollment activities.
• Create, edit, proofread, and maintain provider-facing communications, including email campaigns, letters, presentations, FAQs, and related materials.
• Translate complex healthcare, operational, and regulatory requirements into clear, concise, and actionable messaging for provider audiences.
• Partner with senior leaders, client stakeholders, operational teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure communications are accurate, timely, consistent, and aligned with organizational requirements.
• Coordinate multi-channel communication campaigns designed to increase provider awareness, engagement, and timely completion of revalidation activities.
• Manage communication initiatives from planning and development through execution, monitoring, and optimization.
• Track communication effectiveness and use performance insights to refine messaging, channels, and outreach strategies.
• Maintain strong project organization, timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder alignment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while proactively seeking guidance and resolving communication or project challenges as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing and executing strategic communications plans, ideally within healthcare, managed care, provider relations, healthcare operations, or a similarly regulated environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong editing, proofreading, and content-development abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively to diverse audiences.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple communication initiatives, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience developing provider-facing communications across multiple channels and stakeholder groups.
• Familiarity with healthcare, Medicaid, provider operations, enrollment, revalidation, or other highly regulated environments is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder-management and collaboration skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• A results-oriented mindset with the ability to monitor communication effectiveness and use insights to improve engagement and operational outcomes.
