The Community Manager’s main duty is to create and manage programming at an office property to enhance the experience for tenants and visitors, both on‑site and virtually, and to foster a sense of community. The ideal candidate has a hospitable and creative personality, exceptional business acumen, and tech‑savviness. This role plans meetings, professional conferences, social and networking events, manages the admin portal of the property app, oversees property social media accounts, and creates internal marketing collateral. The Community Manager also provides exemplary concierge services, arranges events and reservations, and delivers accurate reports and billing to tenants and the client.
JOB DUTIES
Coordinate regular programming, including but not limited to themed events, lunch and learns, conveniences, entertainment, philanthropy, and brand activations for the building and individual companies Manage property amenity spaces including tenant lounge, conference center, outdoor space, and other common areas Plan and maintain the property programming budget Partner with fitness providers for health and wellness programming Create marketing collateral for property programming and events using property‑specific branding Partner with onsite and local retailers and dining establishments to highlight promotions Assist the property management and leasing teams in tours, welcome collateral, and events for new tenants Maintain the admin portal of the property app, including conference center reservations, building events, and local area information and partnerships Manage the property social media pages Write and design eblasts and monthly newsletters to tenants who have opted into the service regarding events occurring in the building and around the local area Act as a building ambassador, including maintaining a welcoming presence in public spaces during high‑traffic times and events Respond to in‑person, phone, and email requests from tenants, providing guidance and information in a timely manner Be knowledgeable of local and trending events, attractions, restaurants, hotels, tours, and transportation options in the surrounding area, helping to coordinate reservations and tickets Negotiate contracts with area vendors for best prices and services Provide detailed reporting of events, conference‑center bookings, social media engagement, and building app usage to the client Provide timely and accurate reporting to the finance department to ensure accurate billing of services to clients Handle other concierge‑related requests as neededSKILLS AND APTITUDES
Experienced in marketing and event planning Independent thinker and self‑starter Ability to host and engage tenants and visitors in events and programming Foresight to organize event logistics up to 1,000 attendees Eye for clean, concise marketing collateral Superior knowledge of local area cultural, dining, and entertainment venues, and ability to match client and tenant desires to the appropriate venue Multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment, accommodating and communicating to a broad range of clientele with varied needs Quick and efficient problem solving for client or tenant requests Motivated self‑starter who can work with minimal supervision Creative problem solver Excellent time management Proactive, approachable, and solution‑focused Professional demeanor and appearance Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to company values Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, iOS functions, marketing or graphic design software, and digital technologyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience At least three years’ experience in marketing and event planning, including VIP guest service Previous concierge or VIP retail experience highly preferred This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
