DevOps Engineer

Job Description The DevOps Engineer will leverage their technical background to help deliver automation and big data analytics for the IC community. You will be trained in DevOps and work alongside a collaborative team of Software Developers, Systems Development Engineers, Network Engineers, and Data Engineers to develop unique software that enables customer networks to safely operate at scale. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Deploying and provisioning AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM roles, and VPC configurations to support scalable architecture Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using GitLab and GitHub Running routine vulnerability scans, applying patches, and updating cloud and physical infrastructures to ensure security compliance Designing and maintaining Kubernetes and EKS clusters to ensure high availability and productivity for the development team Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure complete and functional systems that meet all requirements Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements Required Skills 10+ years' experience with DevOps, front end development or full stack development Experience with Bash scripting Experience working within AWS (Amazon Web Services) environments Experience working with Linux administration and systems design Experience creating CI/CD pipelines Experience with network documentation including security compliance, configuration management, and patching.
