Position Summary Blackbird Health is looking for a part‑time Intake Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary team. You will deliver comprehensive psychiatric intake evaluations and treatment planning for children, adolescents, and young adults — connecting patients to the right ongoing care from the very start of their journey. We are looking for clinicians licensed in PA, VA, NJ, or MD. How You’ll Make an Impact Comprehensive Intake Evaluations: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for the 2–26 age range, establishing a strong clinical foundation for each patient’s care journey. Whole‑Child Integration: Collaborate with therapists to develop individualized treatment plans that address the root cause of behavior and ensure patients are matched to the right ongoing provider. Family Empowerment: Educate parents and caregivers during the intake process, helping them understand their child’s diagnosis and navigate next steps in their mental health journey. Clinical Excellence: Oversee diagnostic testing and maintain thorough, HIPAA‑compliant intake documentation.
