Registered Nurse ( RN), Trasitional Care Unit, Full Time Nights - 12HR

Job Title

Responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. Delivers individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient's family. Complies with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.

• Advanced knowledge of catheters, electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation procedures and ICD testing ( Electrophysiology only)

Required Experience

• Current California RN license
• Evidence of continuing education
• Prior experience in an acute care facility, skilled nursing facility or formal classroom education
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card
• LA City Fire card within 6 months of employment
• Violence Intervention &Prevention (VIP) certification within six months of employment
• One year minimum acute care experience
