Position Summary ASM is looking for an experienced Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our union service team. This is a mobile position servicing commercial accounts throughout Central New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of commercial HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems. Service and maintain RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, compressors, controls, and related equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and HVAC control systems. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and emergency service calls. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak detection. Complete service reports and work orders accurately. Maintain professional communication with customers and building management. Follow OSHA, safety, HVAC code, and union requirements. Qualifications 10+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred. Journeyman-level experience required. Must meet applicable union Journeyman requirements and remain in good standing. Union members are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience with Union 274 A/B, 9 A/B, 638, or 475 A/B is preferred; qualified candidates may be eligible to transfer. EPA Section 608 certification required. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Strong electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls knowledge. Ability to troubleshoot independently and work in a mobile field environment. Union Benefits This position is covered by the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
