Position: Ambulatory RN (Case Manager) - OB Clinic

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting. This role is crucial in supporting individuals and families across the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments, and perform clinical procedures as necessary.
• Provide patient education and care coordination in collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards.
• Promote quality outcomes, patient safety, and culturally responsive care in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including adequate supplies and equipment upkeep.
• Address employee and patient concerns in accordance with organizational policies.

Patient Care Focus:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and respond appropriately to patient conditions.
• Deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
• Advocate for patient care and assist patients in navigating the healthcare system.
• Collaborate with providers and team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Professional Expectations:

• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, flexibility, and teamwork.
• Provide guidance and support to ancillary staff, students, and peers.
• Maintain required competencies and certifications through participation in educational programs and training.
• Practice within nursing scope and adhere to regulatory, safety, and infection prevention standards.
• Float to other departments or assignments as required.
