Job Description Job Description Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience Job Summary We are seeking two motivated and dependable Temporary Plumbing Helpers/Apprentices to support our plumbing team on a commercial construction project in Knoxville, TN. This is a six-month assignment offering hands-on experience in commercial plumbing installation, maintenance, and construction activities under the supervision of licensed plumbers and project foremen. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely in an active construction environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist licensed plumbers with the installation of plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, and equipment. Transport, organize, and maintain plumbing materials, tools, and equipment on job sites. Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping under supervision. Assist with rough-in and finish plumbing work. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Load and unload materials and equipment as needed. Support project completion by performing general labor and construction-related tasks. Attend safety meetings and participate in jobsite training. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous construction or plumbing experience is a plus but not required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and construction environments. Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Strong attendance and punctuality record. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing. Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and elevated surfaces when required.
