Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Newark, NJ

$16 - $23 per hour

This per diem opportunity is ideal for a Pharmacy Technician with retail experience, available to work a two-day assignment in Newark, New Jersey. The role involves supporting pharmacy operations and delivering exceptional customer service within a fast-paced retail environment.

Assignment Details:

Location: Newark, NJ
Dates: July 6th and 7th (Monday and Tuesday)
Shift: 1st shift
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
Assist pharmacists in the dispensing process to ensure timely and safe medication delivery.
Manage and maintain OTC inventory, placing orders as needed to keep stock levels sufficient.
Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns.
Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, facilitating smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications & Experience:

Clear and active Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey (required).
Proven retail pharmacy experience.
Experience with Pioneer software system is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
