Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.

• Participates in patient specimen collection responsibilities.

• Computer processing of patient specimens before and after collection.

• Process and distribute patient reports.

• Demonstrates understanding and adherence to StoneCrest Code of Conduct

• Performs any duties necessary to the efficient and quality operation of the department.

• This position entails potential for exposure to hazardous medications as defined by TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center's Hazardous Drug Policy as either hazardous or antineoplastic. All facility-endorsed risk mitigation strategies for handling hazardous medications must be followed appropriately.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or G.E.D., preferred

Basic computer proficiency

Good written/verbal communication skills

Phlebotomy training and experience, preferred
