Step into a vital, multi-disciplinary hospital role working alongside an attending OB/GYN physician and a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) on every single shift.

• Clinical Scope: Provide comprehensive, round-the-clock clinical management across the full continuum of maternal-child health and inpatient gynecology. Core responsibilities include:

  • Labor & Delivery Focus: Serving as a primary engine on the L&D deck, triage bays, and cross-covering emergency OB/GYN consultations as called.

  • Surgical First Assisting: Functioning as the dedicated surgical first assist on all scheduled and emergent Cesarean sections and gynecological surgeries (acting in place of a resident when required).

  • Postpartum & Floor Care: Conducting clinical rounds, executing discharge clearances, and managing flowsheets for the 20-bed private-room Mother/Baby postpartum unit.

• The Schedule: True 24/7 inpatient operation. Providers will work a structured, full-time schedule averaging 36 to 40 hours per week . The facility offers exceptional flexibility between 12-hour and 24-hour block shifts spanning Monday through Sunday (7:00 AM 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM 7:00 AM). There are no post-shift on-call ties .

• The Volume: Dynamic and fluid inpatient volume. The hospital features state-of-the-art labor/delivery/recovery (LDR) suites and an advanced Level II Intermediate Care Nursery, drawing a highly diverse patient population from the surrounding metro area.

• The Team Structure: You are never isolated. The coverage model ensures exactly one APP is active on the floor at all times, working hand-in-hand with an in-house OB attending and a dedicated midwife.
