Entry Level Electronics Assembler - Kearny Mesa - $19/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to perform a variety of assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies. The role involves working from samples, technical blueprints, and specifications to assemble cable and wire harnesses, crimping and stripping wires, and performing box builds and kitting from start to finish under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, label, cut wires, stuff, bag and tag, heat shrink, back shell, harness, and kit products.
• Work with diagrams, blueprints, measuring rulers, and small hand tools.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, and machine operation.
• Proficiency in crimping.
• Ability to work from diagrams and blueprints.
• Good hand/eye coordination and the ability to use microscopes.
• Attention to detail and ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to use hand tools such as long nose pliers and side cutters.
• Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to compute measurements accurately.

• Ability to work autonomously in a quiet manufacturing setting.

Work Environment

The position offers a first shift schedule from 7am to 3:30pm in a manufacturing setting. The work environment is quiet, with no cell phones allowed on the production floor to ensure focus and productivity. Employees work autonomously, allowing for personal accountability and growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
