Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,831-$2,962 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Start date: 08/24/2026 Setting: Hospital-based acute care Responsibilities Perform general nuclear medicine examinations and quality control measures, including PET/CT as requested by medical staff Assist radiologists and other clinical staff during exams and procedures Complete documentation for interpretation, reporting, archival, and retrieval of exams Verify written/electronic orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting Manage administration, receipt/return, decay, and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in monitoring and improvement of hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan Requirements Graduation from a CAHEA-accredited Allied Health program or equivalent American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in nuclear medicine or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) American Heart Association BLS certification (preferred) One year post-graduate work experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (preferred) Ability to work in a hospital-based acute care environment and to handle radioactive materials in compliance with regulations Benefits and Support Dedicated assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC 24/7 travel support and recruiter access during the assignment Housing assistance resources may be available Opportunity to extend the assignment if census and facility needs align About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
