About the job:

BigRio is looking for a technology manager to lead engineering efforts to support our clients' API Platform Engineering. In this role, you will guide talented teams to focused on delivering member-centric solutions on cutting-edge platforms and the implementation of API solutions. You will oversee the execution and delivery of multiple efforts of high complexity. Your efforts will work on a wide range of technologies and anchor platforms such as: Mulesoft, Salesforce, MS Dynamics 365, Adobe Experience Cloud, Pega, Java, Springboot, REST APIs, AKS, and other cloud native services on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Breadth of experience in varied technologies relating to topics such as networking protocols, security protocols, distributed systems, high availability strategies higher education, e-commerce, big data, and analytics.
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns, and abstraction methodologies
• In-depth knowledge of systems design, architecture, and implementing large business systems
• Experience organizing/leading/approving design reviews, test plan reviews, and go-to-market plan reviews.
• Experience documenting architectures and familiar with related diagramming models (such as C4 model, UML, sequence diagrams,...) including when and why each is used
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal / collaboration skills
• Experience in Agile development process
• Experience with AWS Cloud Computing
• Solid experience with API management platforms like MuleSoft, API Gee, Kong, or similar
• Understanding of API security and policy enforcement
• Knowledge of API infrastructure, features, and functionality - Kong gateway, service mesh, edge caching, authentication schemes, and traffic control.
