Lighting Supervisor

Warehouse Returns Supervisor Solotech is a global leader in live productions, systems integration and virtual technology. The Warehouse Returns Supervisor is responsible for receiving and processing returned orders in a timely and accurate manner while inspecting the quality of the items to determine the correct process for each item. The position requires performing cycle counts on a predetermined cadence to maintain inventory accuracy and may involve changing assignments daily to meet the needs of the operations. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and process returned products using proper documents and scanning, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Coordinate de-preparation from receipt to end-department for QC. Scan inventory to designated pickable locations. Develop and implement metrics and plans for return processing to ensure timeliness. Communicate with relevant departments and update the inventory system. Plan and schedule work using a four‑week forecast that includes volume, labor, equipment and critical issues. Collaborate closely with the operational analyst to maintain efficiencies. Verify cable bundles for quantity and accuracy; repair cables as needed. Suggest and implement efficiencies in cable bundling and other departments. Monitor returns history and recommend options for operational efficiency. Confirm the accuracy, quality and completeness of each return before recording in Solotech systems. Use warehouse equipment to stock inventory on shelves. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and report damages or hazards to the Senior Operations Manager. Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity. Document returns and operational details for efficiency tracking. Update inventory and returns records. Help develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices. Identify and resolve discrepancies between records and physical counts. Conduct regular audits and keep inventories organized. Assist in operational projects, changes and moves. Coordinate, manage and support the team. Plan and organize daily department activities, prioritizing technicians’ tasks. Assign work to technicians efficiently. Train new hires on departmental processes and procedures. Assist in creating standard operating procedures and KPI’s for the department. Manage overdue reports by coordinating with department managers. Certify steel on return as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in audiovisual, stage techniques or equivalent training. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in live events. Minimum of one (1) year of supervisor experience. General technical knowledge of audio, lighting, video and rigging departments. Knowledge of the R2 inventory software. Knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, analyze and solve problems. Strong sense of priorities and schedule management. Capability to adapt to change. Physical Requirements Continuously sit, walk, speak, and hear. Continuously type, write, and read. Occasionally stand, stoop, twist, carry, reach, push, and lift up to 50 lbs. Work Requirements Time will be spent in a warehouse setting. Flexible work hours to support operations.
