What You'll Do

• Administer patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the scope of practice for perioperative nursing.
• Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
• Manage and monitor anesthesia and sedation as directed.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout perioperative care.

What You Need

• Required:
• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Prior OR nursing experience (specific years of experience may be requested)
• Preferred:
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with perioperative equipment and procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills
