Job Details Job Location: Reineke Ford Lincoln of Lima - Lima, OH 45804 Reports To: Sales Manager / General Manager Summary In this role, you would be responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used vehicles as well as communicating effectively with sales staff and other departments to ensure productivity within the department while following Dealership specifications and safety standards. Job Duties Wash, clean, wax, sand and polish vehicles. Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning products, applicators, and cleaning devices while following safety instructions. Maintain showroom and stock vehicle in clean and presentable condition at all times. Work with rental and service department to provide services for guests. Ensure proper stickers and tags are displayed on vehicles. Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using chemical products. Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner. Report any damage or safety concerns to management. Vehicle inspection prior to delivery, including filling gas tank. Maintain high performance levels while facing time deadlines or handling multiple tasks. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Prior detail experience is preferred but not required Exemption Status Detailer is a non-exempt position. You are required by Federal and State Law and by Reineke Family Dealerships to keep an accurate record of all hours you work each day. Failure to comply with this requirement can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
