Department Overview Our St. Paul float team is an integral part of nursing services and provides a valuable resource to the entire Children's Minnesota St. Paul Campus. Float team members apply skills in a number of areas and are extremely knowledgeable, resourceful and flexible with the care they provide and units they support. Our nursing care team consists of registered nurses, clinical support associates and unit operations coordinators. RNs hired into this area would support all medical surgical areas as well have the option of choosing the NICU or the PICU track (including the ED and PACU), while Unit Operations Coordinators and Clinical Support Associates hired into this area would support all the areas in the hospital on the St Paul campus.
