Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Job Description We are seeking a skilled Neuro Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse with a strong background in neuro critical care. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with neurological conditions, primarily focusing on stroke management. Responsibilities Monitor and manage care for neuro patients, including those with strokes, craniotomies, and external ventricular drains. Conduct assessments and implement care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Administer medications and blood products as required, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Perform advanced nursing tasks such as ICP monitoring, central line care, and continuous IV sedation. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-operative care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of experience in a Neuro Intensive Care Unit. Current ACLS and BCLS certifications. Experience with arterial line management and care of ventilated patients preferred. Must be comfortable with patient ratios of 2:1, flexing to 3:1 as needed during high census.
