Epic CDI / Revenue Cycle AnalystJob#: 3049063Job Description:Epic CDI / Revenue Cycle AnalystLocation: Dallas, Texas (Partial Remote)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide dedicated Epic Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) and Revenue Cycle support for a hospital system. This role provides hands-on, day-to-day operational support to the CDI and Revenue Cycle team, including report and work queue development, coding-related workflow support, and change management communication. This is an opportunity to work closely with hospital leadership and become the go-to Epic resource for a high-visibility function.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and execute weekly work priorities assigned by client leadership.Create and process ServiceNow change tickets related to CDI/Revenue Cycle workflows.Communicate implemented changes clearly to the CDI/Revenue Cycle team.Attend weekly status meetings with client Directors.Track production deployments and outstanding items through resolution.Develop Epic reports and work queues requested by Revenue Cycle and CDI stakeholders.Identify high-dollar and unusual patient accounts for leadership review.Support hospital coding-related workflow questions as they relate to Epic CDI functionality.Serve as a reliable, continuous point of contact, replacing the gaps created by rotating Epic boost resources.Required QualificationsPrior experience as an Epic analyst supporting CDI, hospital coding, or Revenue Cycle functions.Working knowledge of Epic work queue development and report building.Understanding of hospital coding and revenue-cycle processes, including identification of high-dollar or unusual accounts.Experience with change management processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform).Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to Director-level stakeholders.Epic certification (e.g., Resolute HB/PB, ClinDoc, or CDI-specific credential).Preferred QualificationsBackground in hospital coding or clinical documentation (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or similar credential is a plus).Experience supporting a health system through an Epic resource transition or continuity gap.Familiarity with utilization management or care management workflows.Engagement DetailsThis role reports to client-side management with day-to-day coordination with client Revenue Cycle and CDI leadership.About Our CompanyOur company is a global technology services company supporting healthcare organizations through consulting, staffing, and statement-of-work engagements, including Epic implementation, build, and operational support.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
