Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,083 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Kansas City, Kansas. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts. Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures; report abnormal findings. Tasks Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques for patient and operator safety. Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent acute‑care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification; state‑specific licensing if required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
