Quick Lube Technician at Faupel Automotive Group
Compensation: $12 - $15 per hour
Location: Henderson, Kentucky
Description of the Role:
As a Quick Lube Technician at Faupel Automotive Group, you will be responsible for performing oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Performing oil changes
- Conducting tire rotations
- Completing basic vehicle maintenance tasks
- Ensuring tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed
- Installing a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicating oil levels to teammates
- Repairing or replacing worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damage
- Using power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
Requirements:
- Prior experience in automotive maintenance preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
- One year in a service department
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
