General Manager

A successful entrepreneur is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a growing franchise business within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. Reporting directly to ownership, the General Manager will have responsibility for overall operations, team leadership and development, hiring and training, scheduling, service and product quality, and adherence to brand standards and SOPs. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of daily QSR franchise operations, ensuring operational excellence and a consistently positive customer experience. Lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive and accountable workplace culture. Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new employees. Create and manage employee schedules based on operational and staffing needs. Maintain and enforce company SOPs, franchise requirements, food-service standards, and brand expectations. Monitor the quality and consistency of products, service, cleanliness, and overall customer experience. Conduct employee performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Manage promotions and ensure successful execution of brand and local marketing initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and team performance. Address day-to-day operational issues proactively and effectively. Partner directly with ownership on business performance, staffing, operational priorities, and growth initiatives. Assist with planning, staffing, training, and operational execution as the organization expands into additional franchise locations. Help develop scalable processes and systems that can be replicated across future locations. Qualifications 3+ years of experience working within a franchise business environment. Previous QSR, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or similar high-volume customer-facing experience is strongly preferred. 3+ years of successful team leadership experience, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and developing employees. Strong understanding of franchise operations, SOPs, operational standards, and brand compliance. Experience working with a recognized or established brand is preferred. Prior experience supporting the opening, expansion, or management of additional franchise locations is highly desirable. Strong organizational, scheduling, and problem-solving skills. Ability to balance hands-on daily management with higher-level operational responsibilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, vendors, and ownership. Self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment. The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will be more than a day-to-day restaurant manager.
