Human Resources Team Lead (Position 9457-0555-20260529SUN) State of Mississippi – 67 – SUNFLOWER COUNTY, MS Annual Salary: $47,425.15 – $64,735.33 Full-Time About the Position Human Resources Supervisory position which functions in an independent manner performing a variety of complex and difficult professional Human Resources generalist duties such as position classification, position management, recruitment, training, benefits, employee selection processes, and salary determination. Jobs at this level function as liaisons between internal divisions, departments, or sub‑agencies, and executive staff regarding recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, promotion and transfer, employee relations, budgetary and staffing needs, and other personnel transactions. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these positions to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen. (This is a Non-State (X-16) position). Responsibilities Perform and review Human Resources generalist duties including classification, recruitment, training, benefits, employee selection, and salary determination. Act as liaison between internal divisions and executive staff on matters of recruitment, selection, classification, compensation, promotion, transfers, employee relations, budgetary and staffing needs, and other personnel transactions. Supervise employees by recommending hires, training staff, planning work assignments, reviewing performance, coaching, and administering progressive discipline. Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience. Ability to comply with MSPB and MDOC rules, regulations, and procedures governing the workplace. Adaptability, courteousness, strict confidentiality, excellent computer skills, and efficient use of MAGIC/EC, SPAHRS, and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Excel). #J-18808-Ljbffr
