Maintenance Technician

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role located in Goodlettsville, TN. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems, equipment, and residential units, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC support, carpentry, and appliance repairs. Daily responsibilities include responding to work orders, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and documenting all work performed. The role also involves conducting regular property inspections, supporting preventive maintenance schedules, maintaining tools and supplies, and assisting with unit turns and exterior upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. The technician will collaborate with property management and other team members to prioritize tasks and support resident satisfaction. Qualifications Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and Industrial Maintenance for residential or commercial properties. Experience with Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Ability to perform effective Troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and building systems issues. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair. Ability to lift and carry materials, use ladders, and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach when interacting with residents and team members. Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize multiple work orders and deadlines. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus. Previous maintenance experience in multifamily housing or property management is preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to participate in an on-call rotation as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
