Your position will report to a Finance Manager and will support the Commercial Team as they implement contracts, pay customer incentives, and build relationships with recognized Global companies. Helping you do this, is a team of three Finance professionals who meet weekly and work collaboratively to solve issues together.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Forecast, track and initiate payment of customer incentivesBook month-end customer incentive accrualsMonthly variance analysis of actual customer performance versus expectationsPerform special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required by finance and business leadership.Work with appropriate internal departments to accurately implement new contracts.Prepare several different types of standard reports to support our customers and Sales TeamProblem solve multi-system variances for accuracyCollaborate with other members of the team to share knowledge and help teammates were neededEnsure accuracy, quality and integrity of financial dataAd-hoc reporting, as the need arisesPerform other related duties as assignedHow will you get here?Minimum Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related fieldsStrong Microsoft Excel skillsMinimum of 3 years of relevant work experienceStrong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate professionally to all levels of an organization.Excellent organization and time management skills with an eye for detailKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate and articulate business impact in financial terms.Ability to perform effectively under pressure and to handle multiple assignmentsAbility to work as part of team environment and individuallySelf-motivated, with the willingness and ability to learn new conceptsAbility to communicate effectively (written and verbal) at all levels in the organizationEmbody the Thermo Fisher Scientific values of Integrity, Intensity, Involvement, and InnovationStrong Excel and modeling skills, experience with MS PowerPoint, Cognos and PowerBI highly valuable.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 80,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
