Job Title: Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to join our team, providing expert care for high-risk pregnancies in a dynamic hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-risk obstetric cases, including trauma I or II experience, with a strong commitment to patient safety and team collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Cover Level II nursery and participate in approximately 11-12 deliveries per day.
- Provide in-house coverage for high-risk obstetric patients, assisting with cesarean sections and other procedures as needed.
- Support the Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) team with high-risk cases, with 24/7 access to MFM specialists.
- Respond to urgent OB scenarios and emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate with other OB providers and clinic staff to ensure comprehensive patient care, both during day and night shifts.
- Manage unassigned OB patients when required.
- 24-hour hospital in-house call from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Flexible 12-hour shift options available upon request.
- Position is ongoing with a start date as soon as possible.
- Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- MN license highly preferred; IMLC required if no MN license.
- Trauma I or II experience is highly desirable.
- BLS certification required.
- Candidates must have a clean file for emergency temporary credentialing.
- Electronic medical record system: Epic/Excellian and Obix for fetal monitoring.
- Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days.
