$78,000 - $90,000 Job Summary The Jr. Land Analyst serves as the primary point of contact for mineral owners, royalty recipients, and working interest partners. This is an owner-relations focused position that manages direct communication, maintains accurate ownership records, oversees print and mail operations, and supports both Division Order and Lease Records teams. Lease Records work includes document OCR processing, SharePoint placement, and ODL (OnDemand Land) linking. This role is essential to Prairie's owner relations excellence and provides a foundation for growth into broader Land Administration responsibilities.

Essential Functions

Monitor and respond to owner inquiries via email and phone (daily) Process incoming owner mail and documents (daily) Maintain Owner Relations Log and update inquiry status (daily) Prepare owner correspondence, payment confirmations, and informational responses (daily) Track print and mail project status and coordinate with vendors (as needed) Support DO and Lease Records teams with data entry or research (as bandwidth allows) Weekly inquiry log review and trend analysis with Land Administration Manager Monthly reconciliation of payment mailing lists with ownership records

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email/phone communication tools Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet set deadlines. Basic knowledge of accounting software, accounts payable and invoicing platforms like Quorum ODA/ODL and OpenInvoice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex ownership and payment topics to non-technical owners Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Professional demeanor and customer service mindset Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree (preferred)​​​​​​​ Prior experience in owner relations, customer service, or administrative support in oil & gas Familiarity with oil & gas industry terminology and land concepts Experience with Quorum OnDemand (ODA/ODL) or similar land/accounting systems Experience with mail vendor management or print operations Basic understanding of division orders and ownership structures
