Job Title: Part-Time Cook – Breakfast & Lunch
Location: Daily Grind Unionville. CT
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: 2-3 days/week, mornings and early afternoons

Job Summary
We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking our breakfast and lunch menu items with consistency and care. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about quality food.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
- Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout the shift
- Coordinate with baristas and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service
- Assist with receiving deliveries and inventory management
- Help with daily opening and/or closing kitchen procedures
Requirements
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (especially in a café or breakfast setting)
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with short-order cooking or working on a flat top grill
- Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain)
