Position Type: Part-Time, Contract
Schedule: 16 Hours Per Week (1.5 Days/Week)
Dates: August 13, 2026 – May 20, 2027

Caseload: Approximately 20 Students

Job Overview
Belle Creek Charter School is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, school-based position in Henderson, CO for the 2026–2027 school year . This opportunity offers a small, manageable caseload of approximately 20 students , making it an excellent fit for an OT seeking schedule flexibility while making a meaningful impact in an educational setting.
The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to help students develop the functional skills needed for success in the classroom and daily school activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting
- Evaluate and treat students with fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and functional skill needs
- Develop and implement therapy goals aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student achievement
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapist License (Required)
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Knowledge of IEPs, special education services, and student-centered interventions
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
