Security Control Assessor

Leading security control assessments for high-priority projects, the full-time Security Control Assessor will evaluate security controls for AI technologies in a hybrid/remote role while establishing frameworks for rapid deployment and ensuring compliance across AWS cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Execute formal SCA/R duties and lead security assessment efforts Evaluate technical control effectiveness across AWS cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps pipelines Act as the primary subject matter expert for custom offensive tooling and maintain communication with cross-functional teams Required Qualifications Active Top Secret security clearance Current DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II or Level III certification 5-7+ years of experience in security control assessments for DoD or federal information systems Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and security controls in cloud-native environments Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and RMF artifacts
