RN – PCU / Resource Float Pool | Travel Contract

⏱️ 13 weeks | 36 hours/week

Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

The Opportunity

• Work as part of a Resource Float Pool supporting adult inpatient units across two campuses .

• Float throughout Med-Surg, PCU, IMC, and Observation units based on hospital needs.

• PCU travelers may occasionally float to ED or PACU to care for adult-health patients awaiting inpatient beds.

• BUMC-Tucson is a Level I Trauma, 625-bed hospital .

• BUMC-South is a Level III Trauma, 245-bed hospital , approximately 10 minutes from the Tucson campus.

Requirements

• Recent PCU experience

• Level I Trauma experience — REQUIRED

• Large hospital experience — REQUIRED

• Must be comfortable floating across multiple adult inpatient units

• Navy scrubs required; navy warm-up jacket permitted.

Important: This is not a standard PCU assignment . The traveler needs to be comfortable being a float-pool RN and potentially working Med-Surg, PCU, IMC, Observation, and occasionally ED/PACU.
