Bookkeeping - Account Specialist

Legacy Property Solutions manages properties across Bismarck/Mandan and we’re growing. This is not a basic bookkeeping position. This is a key operational seat inside a company that takes systems seriously. You’ll work inside AppFolio and QuickBooks daily managing distributions, reconciliations, vendor payments, and reporting. But what we really need is someone who sees the gap between where things are and where they should be, and goes and closes it. WHAT YOU’LL OWN Owner distributions - monthly, accurate, on time Vendor payments - bi-weekly processing and controls Delinquency tracking - monthly monitoring and follow-through Financial reporting - P&L, performance metrics, leadership visibility Reconciliations - rent flow accuracy and compliance Systems improvement - manual processes become streamlined ones REQUIREMENTS QuickBooks experience (required) Solid accounting fundamentals Highly organized - multiple recurring cycles don’t rattle you Comfortable in spreadsheets and improving them Systems thinker - you see problems before they happen Bonus (not required): AppFolio experience Property management background Automation or process improvement experience WHO YOU ARE You build systems, not just check boxes You take ownership and follow through You communicate before problems grow You care about accuracy, not just speed You’re growth-focused and coachable This role is not for you if you need constant direction, avoid accountability, or prefer routine over improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
