Medical Technologist Generalist

Job Description

Medical Technologist – Panama City, FL

Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Rotating Weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, blood bank, microbiology, and more
Analyze and interpret complex test results
Maintain quality control and troubleshoot lab equipment
Handle specimen processing, documentation, and phlebotomy
Train new staff and support lab operations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field
FL State Technologist License (or in process) – Generalist required
MT/MLS certification (ASCP preferred)
Strong lab foundation; new grads with clinical/lab experience considered

Compensation & Benefits:

$28.65 – $36.95/hour (based on experience)
Night differential: +$3.00/hour
Sign-on bonus: $15,000
Relocation assistance available
