Estimator

Estimator King Asphalt, Inc. has an opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate would be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. Previous experience in heavy civil construction is preferred. We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with an outstanding benefits package. Responsibilities Establish and maintain working relationships with customers, vendors and subcontractors. Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects. Understand scope of work, take-off and quantify, and prepare estimates to bid heavy civil projects. Contact and manage bid pricing from material suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure timely completion of estimates. Skills 3+ years' experience in construction estimating. Able to read civil plans and develop cost estimates. Strong understanding of construction processes. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel. Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. Impeccable problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and safe driving record. Education AAS in Construction Engineering Technology (or similar), BS in Construction Science, BS in Civil Engineering or related field. Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
