Employee Type Full Time Hourly The Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides personal care and supportive services to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living, promotes comfort and safety, observes changes in patient condition, and helps patients maintain the highest possible level of independence and quality of life. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide perosnal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene. Assist patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning. Help patients with feeding and meal preparation as directed in the care plan. Perform light housekeeping tasks related to patient care, such as laundry, changing linens, and maintaining a safe enviroment. Monitor and report changes in patient condition, behavior, or environment to the supervising nurse. Measure and record vital signs as assigned and report abnormalities promptly. Assist patients with exercises and rehabilitation activities as directed by nursing or therapy staff. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided. Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies and procedures. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families. Attend required staff meetings, in-services, and training programs. Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and respect at all times. Requirements Current CNA certification in the State of Texas. Previous healthcare experience preferred; home health experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
