Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Integration/API Engineer to build robust, scalable integrations across enterprise platforms. This role combines strong engineering fundamentals with expertise in API development and event streaming technologies to enable connectivity between ServiceNow, Kafka, and observability pipelines. The position is based in Plano, TX, with potential work in Pennington, NJ, or Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement API-based integrations between ServiceNow, Kafka, OTEL Collector, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain webhook-driven workflows for real-time event processing and automation.
• Engineer and optimize data flows for observability and monitoring pipelines, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and Shell to support integration and DevOps workflows.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of integration architectures, API specifications, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Strong engineering background with experience in API design and integration.
• Proficiency in event streaming technologies such as Kafka and observability tools like OTEL Collector.
• Advanced scripting skills in Python and Shell.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and webhooks.
• Understanding of the ServiceNow platform and ITSM processes.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies.

Experience:

• Ability to work independently and deliver complex integration solutions from concept to implementation.
