Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) on the medical-surgical floor. This position entails assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for adult patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a compatible license. BLS certification is required. Experience in a clinical setting is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to care for adult medical-surgical patients, including proficiency in caring for medical, oncology, and telemetry patients. Must be proficient in reading telemetry strips. The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and good visual, auditory, and motor skills are essential.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to medical-surgical nursing is desirable. Additional nursing experience or education is considered advantageous.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for direct patient care, coordination, delegating tasks to team members, and documenting nursing interventions and patient responses. Must adhere to safety standards, including standard precautions due to exposure risks. The assignment includes working every other weekend and holidays as part of unit rotation.
