AECOM is hiring for an Entry-Level Civil Engineer in our North Charleston, SC office. This position is expected to start immediately. Perform civil engineering modeling, design, and drafting work for engineers and project managers Document project information, author reports and other necessary correspondence for the project files Troubleshoots project related problems and provides engineering support Assist with resolution of construction issues and conducting site observations Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution Proficient with MS Office Suite - specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD) Must be able to conduct field work, tolerate variable environmental conditions, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift and carry at least 50 pounds. Must be able to travel on business periodically for periods of up to 2-3 days Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Minimum 6 months technical work experience in civil engineering or related field (e.g. summer internships, Co-Op). Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution Proficient with MS Office Suite - specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD) Must be able to conduct field work, tolerate variable environmental conditions, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift and carry at least 50 pounds. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Minimum 6 months technical work experience in civil engineering or related field (e.g. summer internships, Co-Op) Frequent travel is a requirement of this role.
